1. Dr Pandor Lecture on “South Africa’s Place in the Changing Global Order”
    On 16 September 2020, South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation gave a lecture on “South Africa’s Place in the Changing Global Order”, hosted by the School of Governance of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (Wits). In her reflections, Dr Pandor highlighted that African unity and multilateralism are among the key guiding principles of South Africa’s foreign policy. She emphasised the importance of international collaboration and partnerships in fostering development on the continent, specifically the contributions science, innovation and technology can make to assist us in transcending development gaps. Dr Pandor also advocated for increased investment in higher education and research across the continent.
